Hill County Democrats Host Texas Ag Commissioner Candidate Tom Caudle
Hill County Democrats have invited Tom Caudle, a pro-life, politically moderate candidate for Texas Commissioner of Agriculture, to speak at their monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on August 14th in the meeting room of the El Conquistador Restaurant at 1516 Old Brandon Road in Hillsboro, Texas. The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome – even dyed-in-the-wool Republicans. Mr. Caudle, making his first run for office, is a lawyer and cow-calf producer, and formerly was a CPA, accounting supervisor, carpenter and oil field laborer. Mr. Caudle will give a short speech, recounting some of the joys and satisfactions he has experienced in meeting the challenges of raising cattle, and sharing some of his ideas whereby together we might forge a more prosperous rural Texas. Then, Mr. Caudle will host a Q&A session. Attendees are encouraged to check out his campaign website, www.TomCaudle.org, which includes considerable detail about his positions on several issues. Attendees might also like to review his opponent’s website, www.kimolson4txag.com, and then come prepared to pepper Mr. Caudle with tough questions.

The Hill County Democrats will also discuss recent state and federal legislation and issues and Democrats’ participation in upcoming community events.

The Hill County Democrats will participate in the Hillsboro Department of Public Safety National Night Out event on August 1, 2017, 5pm -8pm. We will provide a voter registration booth and handout informational papers. Be sure to come out and have a great time.

If you are considering to run for a Local, County or State Elections please contact us.

I know some people say you cannot win if you run on a Democratic ticket for county elections.

If we do not offer a choice for people they do not vote. Each time we have candidates on the ballot we are improving our chances for future elections.

I will make this commitment, I will work as hard as possible to get our candidates elected, I will have people to go door to door, make phone calls, anything that can be done we will help.

Thom Hanson

Hill County Democratic Chair.
